A set of clips is used during the oil pump replacement procedure for BMW engines. Please note that the oil pump is a single unit and cannot be split. The kit also includes a crankshaft locking device, because there is a need to remove the timing chain cassette from the engine crankcase.
Included:
Latch for holding the vibration damper mounting flange. Can be used to repair BMW engines N12, N14, N40, N42, N45, N46, N52. This lock is used with an additional lever equipped with a ½ ”square. OEM number: 11 9 280.
Timing chain tensioner plunger lock. Used to repair BMW engines of various modifications, such as M41, M43, M44, M47, M47T2, M47TU, M51, M57, M57T2, M57TU, M62, N40, N42, N45, N46, N47, N51, N52, N53, N54, N62, N73. OEM number: 11 3 340.
Balance shaft lock, used when dismantling the oil pump, as well as for installing and adjusting the timing of BMW N45, N46, N46T engines. OEM number: 11 5 140.
Balancer shaft lock. Can also be used for repairing BMW N40, N42, N45, N46 engines. OEM number: 11 9 330.
Chain tensioner adapter. OEM number: 11 4 362.
